1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Compress ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install, access, or use the App. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the App will signify your acceptance of any adjusted terms.
2. License Grant & Restrictions
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on mobile devices owned or controlled by you, in accordance with the usage rules of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
You agree not to:
Modify, translate, adapt, merge, make derivative works of, disassemble, decompile, or reverse engineer any part of the App.
Rent, lease, sub-license, publish, or distribute the App.
Use the App for any illegal, unauthorized, or prohibited purposes.
3. User Content & Processing
The App allows you to compress photos and videos selected from your device library. You retain all ownership, intellectual property rights, and copyright to your media files. The App processes all media files 100% on your local device. We do not upload your media to any servers or claim any rights or licenses to your content. You are solely responsible for keeping backups of your media files. We are not liable for any loss of content or media resulting from your use of the App.
4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
The App may offer premium upgrades, features, or subscriptions. All purchases are processed and billed securely through Apple iTunes/App Store or Google Play Store.
Subscriptions: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions inside your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Refunds: All refunds are subject to the terms and refund policies of Apple Inc. or Google LLC. We do not process refunds directly.
5. Third-Party Advertisements
The free version of the App displays ads powered by Google AdMob. By using the App, you acknowledge that Google AdMob may serve personalized or non-personalized ads to you, subject to your tracking consent, and that AdMob's collection and use of advertising identifiers are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided to you "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, operate without interruption, or be completely error-free.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, loss of data or other information, business interruption, or personal injury) arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the App.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and your use of the App shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
